They thrashed all seven of their opponents this season, and the new Grade B boys' basketball champions Queen's College intend to do the same again next year - in Grade A.
Inspired by their talented, free-scoring number six Lao Fan-ieong, the under-16 boys were invincible and averaged 19 points more than their rivals per game.
Rebounding and shooting ace Fan-ieong, who averaged 25 points a game, attributed the team's success to their coach Chung Cheuk-bun.
'Most of us will play in Grade A next year and we're going to win that, too, because we've got the best coach,' said Fan-ieong after his side crushed St Paul's Co-educational College 42-24 in their season-ending match last Friday.
The Queen's team are a symbol of consistency - they were second to Lingnan Secondary School in last year's title race, and many of the players were in the Grade C team who were champions in 2000/2001.
Queen's player Dominic Chu Chen-hung said Chung had introduced new offensive tactics that added variety to their play.
