Customs officers have cracked a copyright piracy case involving the sale of high-quality fake software. Officers raided a shop in North Point on Monday, seized 14 packages of pirated software worth $50,000 and arrested the shop's 41-year-old owner. Chong Wai-ming, of the Customs Copyright Investigation Division, said the seized software was made in the US and sent to Hong Kong by speed post. He said his agency would forward its findings to its American counterparts for follow-up investigation.
