Mum's the word

Financial Secretary Antony Leung Kam-chung has never responded to speculation his wife, Olympic diving gold medallist Fu Mingxia, is pregnant. But now the couple (above) have been spotted stocking up on maternity wear, SAR reckons a happy announcement is around the corner.

An SAR source said Fu, accompanied by Leung, recently went on a shopping spree at Formes, a shop in Central catering for stylish mothers-to-be. 'She tried on a lot of dresses in the fitting room while Leung waited quietly outside,' the source said. 'Each piece cost between $500 and $1,000 and the bill came to more than $10,000.'

Who paid? 'Of course, it was Leung - with his credit card.'
