VISION TECH IN SHARE SALE TO RAISE CASH

Vision Tech International Holdings, which makes and distributes audio-visual equipment in China, is selling 55 million new shares to a private investor to raise money for future business expansion. The company said it would raise HK$5.4 million by selling the shares at 10 HK cents each to Allen Cheng Chak Wai, who is not connected to Vision Tech. The shares represent about 18 per cent of Vision Tech's existing shares and 15 per cent of enlarged share capital. The company's shares were unchanged at 6.8 HK cents yesterday.
