Rowland D'Eon of the Hong Kong Folk Society performs at the Caledonian Pub in Central on Tuesday to raise funds for Operation Santa Claus. A raffle held by the society during the evening raised $2,000 for the Pathways Foundation, this year's beneficiary of the charity drive, organised by the South China Morning Post and RTHK. The Caledonian Pub will auction a signed Scottish rugby shirt at its Christmas ceilidh and donate the proceeds to Operation Santa Claus. Thank you to Chanel for its generous donation of $20,000 and the Swiss Association of Hong Kong, which raised $10,000 at its Christmas charity lunch. Donations can be made by contacting the Operation Santa Claus office on 2251 1550 or sending a cheque payable to Operation Santa Claus 2002, Bank of China Tower, Level 25, 1 Garden Road, Central, Hong Kong.
