BATTERY SALE COMPLETED

Gold Peak Industries said its associate GP Batteries has completed its acquisition of 75 per cent of the issued capital of Zhongyin (Ningbao) Battery for 230 million yuan (about HK$218 million). The acquisition strengthens GP Batteries' position as the largest battery group in China.
