MONGKOK'S anti-triad squad raided a karaoke bar last night and found eight girls - seven of them under 17 - working as ''PRs''.
Four of the underaged girls admitted they were students who had taken a summer job at the Wind Valley Karaoke in Sai Yeung Choi Street.
The parents told police they knew their daughters had jobs but none knew they were working in a lounge which offered sex services.
A 25-year-old man believed to be the bar's operator was being questioned.
The Assistant District Commander, Crime, Superintendent Ma Wang-chau, and Detective Senior Inspector Lo Chuen-man, led the raid on the karaoke on the ninth floor of Moon Palace Building after a month of surveillance.
Three police posing as customers were told the young ''PRs'' could be ''bought out'' and that they could provide sex services for $1,500.
