HO HO HO! Santa Claus is coming. Have you been well-behaved in the last 12 months? If yes, make a wish now. Old Saint Nick may be able to help your dream come true. If not, well, don't give up at this late stage. There may still be time to make that 11th-hour plea to the jolly stocking filler. But don't expect to see Father Christmas in his traditional red and white ensemble this year, for Sunday Young Post readers have created new colours for Santa. They enthusiastically entered our 'Santa's True Colours' competition on December 8, and the spectacular submissions have filled our newsroom. The winner is Warren Henricus, 10: 'I like to see Santa dressed in green for a change and I also like to see him shimmering in red and green - those are the colours associated with Christmas.' Warren gets a chocolate hamper from the Mandarin Oriental Hotel. Two runners-up who will receive chocolate Santas are Addiped Cheng, 14, and Jennifer Chan, 10. While Jennifer chose on the bright side, Santa may raise an eyebrow at Addiped's sartorial suggestions. She summarised her creation thus: glitter on the eyebrows, red moustache and hair, pink and red knitted gloves, striped coat and repeated use of red and purple that are warm and friendly.
