She joined the bank in 1998 from Citibank. Marc Lavoie Vice-president, banking and property sectors ING Financial Markets Based in Thailand, Mr Lavoie joined from Asset Plus Securities, where he was head of research, specialising in the banking and building materials sectors for three years. Before that, he spent four years as a banking analyst, working for Schroder Securities and Poonpipat Finance in Thailand. David Fung Managing director of North Asia RSA Security Mr Fung will oversee the business activities in Hong Kong, China, Taiwan and South korea. He joined from RealNetworks, where he was general manager of Greater China. He has also workd with Siebel Systems and IBM. Ross Brown Head of client services ogilvy & Mather Group, Hong Kong Mr Brown will promote clinet service and customer satisfaction, as well as improve best-practice knowledge throughout the client service teams. He will also act as counsel to the heads of communication disciplines on how to improve client handling. Mr Brown will remain as brand steward for Northwest Airlines and The Economist. New York Life International has named David Skinner Asia region chief executive. Mr Skinner, who has served as business development head since 2000, has relocated to the Hong Kong regional office and succeeds Dennis Pedini, who is retiring. He will remain as chief financial officer until his successor is announced. Mr Skinner has more than 20 years' experience in the life insurance industry. He joined the firm two years ago from Liberty Mutual Group in Boston, where he was chief financial officer of Liberty International, responsible for a number of financial, strategic and operational roles. From 1994 to 1996, Mr Skinner served as chief financial officer of Aetna Canada, in Toronto, and chairman of Aetna Capital Management. For 4.5 years, since 1990, he served in Hong Kong as chief financial officer of Aetna's Asia regional office. Mr Skinner began his career at Peat Marwick Mitchell in 1980. Jane Emery Managing director Grey Worldwide Ms Emery joined the communications network in 1994 and became the company's general manager in 1998. Graeme Cockburn Chef de cuisine of the Bostonian Great Eagle Hotel Mr Cockburn was formerly executive chef for Seabourn Cruises, where he spent more than eight years. He was part of the opening team when Hong Kong-based Regent International Hotels opened its first European hotel, The Regent London. Toby Cooper becomes restaurants manager for the Bostonian and Main St Deli. He has extensive food and beverage management experience, having worked with Apres and Oscar's Bar, Restaurant & Cafe. Vinay Hariani Senior consultant Drake International Mr Hariani joined as a senior consultant in the banking and finance division. He formerly worked with Michael Page in Hong Kong. Robert Gange Senior vice-president and chief financial officer ASAT Holdings Mr Gange brings 20 years of financial and business management, with 13 years' experience in the semiconductor business. He replaces Stanley Baumgartner, who has resigned.
