SCMP Reporter

A man charged with the murder of two Yuen Long schoolgirls, aged 10 and 11, failed to appear in Tuen Mun court for the third time. Duong Vinh Cuong, 38, underwent an operation last Friday and is stable in Prince of Wales Hospital. Magistrate Joseph Yau Chi-lap adjourned the case to January 10 and remanded Duong under the supervision of correctional services.
