CHAIRMAN TRIMS HIS STAKE IN HOPEWELL

Hopewell Holdings chairman Sir Gordon Wu Ying-sheung sold 12 million shares to his son Jefferson, a director and chief operating officer, at HK$5.1 each on December 31. Sir Gordon's holdings will be reduced to 25.82 per cent from 27.19 per cent.
