Hope positive trend continues

I REFER to the complaint from Mui Mui Chan (South China Morning Post, July 9) concerning the inefficient renovation work of Sunway Garden.

I am also a resident of Sunway Garden and I, too, am dissatisfied with the lack of progress of this work and the frequent adjustments that are made.

For example the repair of the external walls of the six blocks has taken nearly six months.

However, residents are not blameless.

Some have refused to pay their share of the renovation work and others have a very poor sense of hygiene.

Things have improved a bit in the last two months.
