Disney does Huck Finn

THE greatest American novel, Mark Twain's The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, has seen several movie versions over the years. The enjoyable Disney adaptation The Adventures of Huck Finn , boasts a fine Huck in Elijah Wood and stresses the adventures ratherthan what they mean to his psychological and moral development. Director Stephen Sommers doesn't stint on the novel's tougher moments, so younger children might find it a little scary.
