Hot giveaway: Hotwire, the discount travel site, has announced it is giving away a free four- or five-star hotel stay each day throughout January and February, Reuters reports.
Winners can choose to stay at any Hotwire partner hotel - even a five-star luxury resort - in the US, Canada or Caribbean. To enter, travellers just log on to www.hotwire.com and check a hotel quote until February 28. All quoters are automatically entered to win a free night of four or five-star hotel accommodations in the city of their choice. Hotwire is giving away one free hotel room daily with no limit on number of individual entries.
Qantas upgrade: Qantas has revamped its international economy class meal service and amenity kits, as well as adding a Snack on Q snack bag.
Passengers will be presented with a reusable drawstring bag containing snacks.
The new-look meal service features individual bottles of mineral water, a new range of wines in individual bottles, meal trays with salad bowls and wine glasses, more generous servings and a selection of lighter style Continental breakfast choices.
Amenity pouches now contain socks, eyeshade, toothbrush and toothpaste.
