CLP signed an agreement with the Yangjiang government on Wednesday relating to the development of a wind power plant
on Hailing Island, Chiu Yeung, spokeswoman for the company's mainland investment arm CLP Power China, said yesterday.
The agreement would allow CLP to conduct a feasibility study on wind speeds and wind directions in Yangjiang, Ms Chiu said.
'The feasibility study may take two years and we will make a decision on whether to pursue the project,' she said.
