The associates and relative of a Hong Kong businessman held under house arrest for six months in South America have spoken for the first time about their ordeal.
The trio - all connected to Tsim Sha Tsui businessman Rajkumar Sabnani - have been under house arrest on suspicion of terrorism, money laundering and tax evasion since July. They deny the allegations.
High-level intervention by the Indian government on their behalf and reports made to the Hong Kong police and the United States' FBI have failed to secure their release.
Mr Sabnani's business associate, Haresh Jamnadas Chandnani, his employee, Sunil Jamanand Turani, and niece Israni Muskan Kamlesh - who has just given birth - cannot leave their house in the Paraguayan border town of Ciudad del Este without a police escort.
Prosecutors say a raid on their house last July uncovered bomb-making materials, a fax order for AK-47 assault rifles with Mr Sabnani's name on it and authorisation from unknown persons for him to use US$30 million (HK$234 million), allegedly to trade in arms.
Mr Sabnani's business partner in Hong Kong, Sandra Ho Wai-ling, was also briefly detained in Brazil in connection with the same case before being released unconditionally.
