The mainland's Telecom World quoted China Railcom vice-chairman Qiao Jinzhou as saying trimming the headcount was part of the company's ongoing restructuring to improve efficiency. China Railcom said its revenue reached 5.73 billion yuan (about HK$5.37 billion) last year, representing a 35.5 per cent year-on-year growth.
