Hong Kong loves a fake. So why not top off Valentine's Day - with its phoney roses, plastic flowers and dubious I-Love-Yous - by dancing to a counterfeit Tom Jones? Billed as the ultimate Tom Jones tribute artist, Martin Jarvis (below) will shake his delilah at the Valentine Day's Romance Concert at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on February 14.

Although not Welsh, Jarvis' big voice and bunch perm are real enough. 'He probably plays Tom Jones more often than the real Tom Jones,' said Calvin Hui, promoter with ec square. 'He stands in for Tom at record signings and media parties. Last year he played at [British Prime Minister] Tony Blair's garden party when Tom was unavailable.'

Tickets are $350 and include free chocolates and wine.
