Hong Kong's local and international youth made a joke of claims that they are not up to a gruelling physical test when 87 out of 106 participants finished the inaugural Bonaqua Youth Challenge - a 9km multi-sport adventure race - on Saturday at Tai Tam Country Park. First home in the 13-15 category was the Dreamteam - Oliver Lodge and Eric Laver from French International School. First girls home were indestructible Lara Croft-style action duo Nikko Wilkinson and Emma Griffiths (Team H20) of King George V School. Full-time triathletes Jason Hsieh Chan-shing and Lemuel Lau Ching-yin won the 16-19 category, and first timers Ostianne Goh-Livorness and Kelly McEachem of Hong Kong International School shocked full-time triathletes Yip Kwan-yau and Chau Chiu-nam to take the girl's prize.
