Hewlett-Packard Hong Kong has appointed Casey Poon (below) as general manager for HP Services.
Mr Poon previously headed the technology and infrastructure practice for HP's Asia-Pacific Consulting & Integration unit.
His new position will put him in charge of managing a business portfolio that offers services from IT strategy and implementation to operational and support services.
Mr Poon joined HP Hong Kong as an applications engineer in 1986 and was the first Unix technical engineer in the company. His other positions in the firm have included district manager for IT infrastructure services and major accounts, country professional services manager for Hong Kong and general manager of HP Consulting in Greater China.
He also spent time as general manager for HP Consulting Asia Australasia in 2001.
