Golden touch

Sex, money and fashion merged on Friday at 'Sinotrash', a stunning bank heist that proved Barney Cheng is still our undisputed fashion mastermind.

The show - underneath Lord Norman Foster's Hong Kong and Shanghai Bank headquarters in Central - saw models cruising on the escalators from the glass and chrome vaults and catwalking through an A-list crowd.

SAR hears one plan was to have models throw cash at the crowd. But the question was: which currency?

Then Cheng had a better idea. The show ended with a huge explosion and the air filled with little squares of gold showering those below. SAR doesn't know much about fung shui, but we reckon if that doesn't kick-start the economy nothing will.
