The Independent Short Film and Video Awards (IFVA) are Hong Kong's very own Oscars for celluloid and video auteurs. Before they hand out the gongs on March 2, organisers showcase most of the local entries for this year's competition (entered before November, hence the title) in a four-week festival at the Hong Kong Arts Centre, plus a few screenings at the

Science Museum, Space Museum and Sha

Tin Town Hall. The festival also hosts selections of Asian and international shorts (including
