HSBC'S FRENCH UNIT INCREASES EUROFIN STAKE

HSBC Holdings' French banking unit CCF plans to boost its stake in Banque Eurofin, a private French bank. In a deal valued at 15.05 million euros (about HK$125.77 million), CCF will acquire an 11.31 per cent stake of Banque Eurofin. Two CCF subsidiaries already own 43.6 per cent and 16.3 per cent respectively of Eurofin.
