Cheung Kong (Holdings) is preparing to launch its One Beacon Hill project in Kowloon Tong, adding to competition for buyers in the luxury residential market.
The developer yesterday opened the project's mock-up show flats at The Metropolis in Hunghom for preview by the media and estate agents.
Cheung Kong senior sales manager William Kwok said One Beacon Hill would be released for sale after the show flats opened for public viewing on Saturday.
'Garden units will be released for sale first, targeting HK$8,000 per square foot,' he said, adding the project provided eight garden units of about 1,400 square feet and each worth HK$11 million to HK$12 million.
One Beacon Hill comprises 604 units measuring 1,277 to 2,600 sq ft due to be completed by the third quarter of this year. Cheung Kong paid HK$4,152 per square foot to acquire the site through government tender in June 1999.
Sun Hung Kai Properties (SHKP) today will unveil the official sale details of its luxury project 1 Ho Man Tin Hill Road in Ho Man Tin. The development has been launched for private sale in the past few weeks.
