About 30 protesters have demonstrated in Central against a war in the Gulf. Members of the Democratic Alliance for the Betterment of Hong Kong tried to encircle the American consulate with a cloth covered in signatures, but were thwarted by security. They handed a petition signed by 50,000 people to consular officials.
