Hong Kong: Charles Adams, president of Asia-Pacific operations for United Parcel Service (UPS), will retire next month and is to be replaced by Ken Torok, who will be posted to Singapore. Mr Adams has held the position as UPS' top man in Asia for eight years, after joining the company in 1991. Mr Torok has been with UPS since 1975 and was most recently managing director of operations in south Florida, where he developed the company's Latin American markets.
