GITIC trying the back door

GUANGDONG International Trust and Investment Corp HK (GITIC) is negotiating to take control of Emperor (China Concept) Investments from Emperor International Holdings.

It marks the second time this year that GITIC has attempted a back-door listing on the exchange.

Talks on the possibility of GITIC taking control of Asean Resources Holdings ended in May.

According to Emperor, no discussion concerning the structure or terms of the acquisition by GITIC has begun, and the acquisition may or may not proceed.
