Rarely seen stones flash heavenly hues

A diva of the Hong Kong jewellery industry will showcase a number of 'one-off' designs made of rare gemstones.

Tayma Page Allies, owner and designer of Tayma Fine Jewellery, says she will display more than a dozen creations from her Lan Kwai Fong studio at a booth in the Design Gallery.

'I design for women who love jewellery and love colour,' Ms Page Allies says. She uses seldom-seen gemstones, such as the padparadscha, a pink stone found in Sri Lanka, in her work.
