Opening hip lamp shop Flos, stellar designer Philippe Starck had other matters on his mind - the owner. 'I am here to seduce Winnie Ma - she is my perfect shape,' he said, wrapping an arm around the 1981 Miss Hong Kong runner-up. Mrs Ma (left, with Starck) also owns trendy Wan Chai furniture boutique Dentro. Fortunately, her husband Philip, youngest son of Ma Kam-chan and director of Tai Sang Land, was not in earshot. But as the celebrity crowd flowed from Flos in Wellington Street to the nearby Kee Club, plenty of others jockeyed for an audience. Among them, actress and singer Karen Mok (left, with lamp). 'I've loved Philippe Starck's work ever since I bought his Juicey Salif orange squeezer,' she told SAR, adding the perennial Starck caveat: 'Mind you, I still haven't worked out how to use it.'
