Fearing delirious fans and paparazzi mania, The Peninsula Hotel has refused to host pop sensation Nicholas Tse's 'comeback conference'. The Grand Hyatt, however, has no such qualms. SAR hears Tse's music company signed with the hotel yesterday and plans to spend $1 million 'restyling' its ballroom for the March 13 event. As yet it is unclear whether Tse - who has been 'resting' (i.e. being pursued mercilessly) since he was briefly jailed last year - will still arrive by helicopter, as planned for the Peninsula gig. 'I can only say it will be a once-in-a-lifetime event,' an Emperor Entertainment Group spokesman told SAR. But with naughty Nic's propensity for trouble and the 'comeback' concept creating this much buzz, we seriously doubt it.
