Mime legend Marcel Marceau, still walking against the wind at 80, appears at Hong Kong City Hall for two nights next month. The Frenchman's soundless and propless shows are always popular with silence-deprived Hongkongers. He has been packing them in since at least 1970, when he played City Hall. Back then top tickets were $15. Next month they will be $300. This 20-fold increase might be well above inflation, but we reckon it's worth it. The sound of silence is so much rarer these days.
