THE PHILIPPINES MAY CUT IRAQI DIPLOMATIC TIES

Manila: The Philippines is considering cutting diplomatic ties with Saddam Hussein's government following a request from the US. A Philippine official also said the 11 Iraqis arrested this week would be deported for allegedly plotting to bomb the US embassy in Manila.
