Fans got a feel for different sports at a three-day sports fair held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre over the weekend.
Visitors tested their abilities on simulation machines and in mini-games, and watched demonstrations by elite athletes.
The event featured more than 100 stalls, with over 40 National Sports Associations and the Macau 2005 East Asian Games organising committee involved. Gymnast Tsui Wing-yan, 14, performed rhythmic gymnastics for a fascinated crowd on Saturday.
The Olympic and Asian Games event requires tremendous dexterity. Wing-yan was spotted by officials at last year's Search for a Star Talent ID programme run by the Hong Kong Sports Development Board.
The 2003 programme runs on March 29 and 30 at the Sports Institute in Sha Tin. All under 15s are invited to apply.
