KLM CARGO LAUNCHES SERVICES TO HK

Hong Kong: The cargo division of the Netherlands' flag carrier, KLM, next month will launch a weekly freighter service between Hong Kong and Amsterdam, offering Dragonair stiff competition on a segment of its sole Europe route. From April 6, KLM Cargo will begin serving the route weekly with a new B747-400ER freighter. The carrier intends to bump the service to twice-weekly in mid-May.
