The 12-strong squad, back in town to defend the Hong Kong Sevens crown they captured for the first time last year, trained for two hours, perhaps trying to acclimatise to the conditions they can expect when they kick off their 2003 campaign against Singapore tomorrow. 'I'm confident about our squad and the ability of our players,' said former rugby league star Lydon, who is back with seven of the Cup-winning team. 'We have the talent and the ability to mount a successful defence.'
