Densie Keller

Hong Kong supermodel Denise Keller is the face for Red Earth cosmetics and is currently in negotiations to host her own show on

MTV Asia. Born in Singapore to a German father and Chinese mother, Keller has been living in Hong Kong for three years and is also

taking singing lessons.

Do you work out? I used to, religiously, but slowed down a bit because I fly quite a lot now. With my hectic schedule I try to do stretches on flights and keep active. I've been doing yoga for five years now. I used to train at the Shambhala (Yoga Centre) in Singapore. I don't do yoga in Hong Kong; I get disappointed all the time - I hate the studio feel, to practise yoga I need a view of trees and the scent of champas.

Where? Planet Fitness in Singapore, New York Fitness in Hong Kong.

When? I'm a morning person. I love to get up and run, but unfortunately there is nowhere to run in Hong Kong but I do my salute to the sun (yoga) every morning at 6am.

How many times a week? Yoga every day; gym, nowadays never; I think my membership has expired.

Favourite exercise or regimen: I loved one class at New York Fitness, we worked on ball stretch and before you knew it, I had mini abs.

Are you a healthy eater? Vegetarian. My doctor has advised me to eat seafood once a week. My Chinese grandmother is Buddhist and I learnt not to hurt animals at a young age, besides, I find cows so cute.

Alcohol - do you indulge?  I used to, hardly now ... I'm so tired when I get home after work, I would rather sip on tea or juice. I do have my moments though - I party like crazy when I'm in Singapore because there is really nothing else to do there and it's not so hectic as Hong Kong, so I just let go and bar- and club-hop. Tokyo is another crazy city where I party. Now that's a city! Generally, when I do go out I drink wine.

Do you smoke? Yes, and I think I'm trying to cut down, but it's hard when you are working on a set for 12 to 18 hours. Coffee doesn't even help any more, it's either chips the client provides or a cigarette. The fashion world is one big smoker's paradise and reeks of tobacco. But I go through phases. I can quit for a year and do yoga retreats, but a coffee and a cigarette or a drink and a cigarette just go so well with one another. I shouldn't be writing this - my manager is going to kill me. We are supposed to have a good image in this world, although everyone knows the ugliness of beauty.

What time's bedtime? 9pm to 10pm.

Ever had cosmetic surgery?  Never ... I know some people who have though, and you just know what is real and what isn't. When you're in this business, you can tell whether there is a tuck or a pull or a suck.

Favourite sport: Gymnastics, World Cup (I'm still upset Germany lost) and Formula One (I went to Sepang in Malaysia to host the races - phew, what a trip!)

Health tip: Quit the low-fat diets. They are just silly. I don't know why people think fat is so bad for you. The French are supposed to be the second-healthiest people in the world and they eat heaps of fat. If you want to be slim, the Atkins Diet is a good one (that is, if you don't go overboard with the induction phase, you're supposed to only do it for 10 days - Hollywood celebs do it for years. Size one exists in America only because of them!). Also eat lots of veggies. Lately I've been bringing boiled eggs for a light snack during my shoots; they're yum, low in fat and high in protein and they kill hunger pangs. Don't starve, you'll just binge, and be honest with yourself ... that's the most important thing.
