Hong Kong has claimed another major name in the world of badminton, this time that of fifth seed and world number 10 Ong Ewe Hock of Malaysia, who was knocked out in the third round of the Korea Open Grand Prix Tournament in Incheon by Agus Hariyanto 11-15, 15-10, 15-11. Hong Kong's other survivor in the men's singles - Yohan Hadikusuma - Wiratama was beaten by the second seed Anders Boesen of Denmark 15-10, 15-11. Boesen lost in last week's Japan Open to another Hong Kong player Ng Wei, who has shot up the world rankings from 48th to 30th.
