People who run a business from home in the average, small Hong Kong flat will want office gear that takes up the least amount of space.

So they will be interested to hear that Hewlett-Packard's latest all-in-one printer-scanner-copier, the PSC 1210, claims to be the smallest in the world. It is 42.4cm wide, 26cm deep and 17cm high, and weighs just 4.9kg.

Its price tag of just HK$1,188 is also attractive, especially for a product packed with so many features and functions.

The PSC 1210 uses colour inkjet technology to deliver a resolution of 1,200x1,200 dots per inch (dpi) for any of the three functions. HP claims printing and copying speeds of up to 12 pages a minute in black and white and 10 in colour.

Printing in black and white from an inkjet printer will not give you the same, sleek quality as a laser printer, but the difference is not huge and inkjet products give great value, especially for a small home office.
