Mobile-phone maker Haier-CCT Holdings saw its loss widen to HK$66.88 million last year from HK$5.03 million in 2001. Turnover more than doubled to HK$499.87 million last year, compared with HK$224.13 million in 2001. Meanwhile, CCT Telecom Holdings, which owns 46.04 per cent of Haier-CCT, narrowed its loss to HK$257 million last year, down from HK$685 million in 2001. Turnover edged down 0.77 per cent to HK$3.13 billion.
