What would you do if you caught your best friend stealing?

Stealing? Between exams and school and life, my friends probably don't even have time to consider it. Besides, friendships are based on trust and I expect more from, and believe in, my friends. If your friends reflect who you are, then they and your friendships should say something about you.

NEERAJ SOMAN - 16

Stealing would be his decision. Many - most - of my actions are morally questionable. I would try hard to talk him out of it. If he did steal, it would be my duty to tell an authority. I am no stool pigeon but cover-ups are a Chinese government specialty, not mine.

MARCUS MEUSER - 18

Confrontation would be the only way to be sure about it. I would ask if he/she had been stealing from me. Denying it would mean the end of our best friendship, but we'd stay buddies. On the other hand, I'd also be okay with a good explanation and we'd stay best friends.
