CONSTRUCTION consultancy Franklin & Andrews has been awarded ISO 9001 certification by the Hong Kong Quality Assurance Agency (HKQAA), recognising the company's management efficiency.

  Franklin & Andrews is the first company in the quantity surveying business to be awarded the ISO certificate, according to the firm's associate manager, Jeremy Newton.

  Mr Newton said the company, which has been in business in Hong Kong for 16 years, had started to use the management system six months ago.

  Other winners of ISO certificates include the government printing department, Gammon Construction, Dickson Construction and the Housing Authority.
