POLICE arrested six people and seized a small amount of cannabis, ''ice'' and Ecstasy during a raid on a party at a Wan Chai restaurant early yesterday. The raid on the Viceroy Indian restaurant at the Sun Hung Kai Centre came as more than 400 people, mainly Europeans, were attending a dance party. Six undercover officers, acting on a tip-off and posing as customers went to the restaurant. One officer was allegedly approached by a 15-year-old European girl who offered to arrange to sell Ecstasy for $350. The girl and two European men, aged 18 and 19, were said to have sold the drug to the officer minutes later. At 3 am, more than 50 officers from the Police Tactical Unit and the Special Duty Squad in Wan Chai arrived at the restaurant. The girl and the two men were arrested along with another three people allegedly found in possession of several grams of cannabis. Police also found a small amount of ''ice''. The six people, aged between 15 and 23, were last night released on bail of $1,000 each pending further investigations. A Nepalese man was detained at Queen Elizabeth Hospital last night after discharging 162 cannabis pellets hidden inside his body.
