TWO well-known figures of the local airwaves, who had recently parted professional company in seemingly acrimonious circumstances, were rather astounded to find themselves reunited in a Kowloon recording studio. Unbeknown to each other, they had been booked by an advertising agency to do the voice-over for a washing machine commercial as - wait for it - husband and wife! What's more, his opening line was: ''There are only two loves in my life - you and my washing machine''. To which she had to respond (presumably with clenched teeth): ''What was that about someone else?'' But, being the superb professionals that they both are (and, considering recent history, obviously not wanting to prolong the agony of repeating such lines), Teresa Norton and FM Select channel director Larry London got it over and done with, we are told, in one take.
