Miramar Hotel and Investment issued a profit warning due to the Sars outbreak. The firm said it had a sharp decline in hotel occupancy rate compared with the same period last year and decline in turnover on its food and beverages businesses. It also saw downward pressure on rentals in its property leasing business.
