NOVELL Inc, the computer networking company, plans to provide technology for full-motion video and multimedia on-computer networks.

  Novell will use the technology from Fluent Inc, a recognised leader in the field, which it bought for US$17.5 million recently.

  Novell is integrating networked multimedia capabilities, including full-motion video, with its NetWare system software, which manages and controls computer networks.

  Novell will make network services for multimedia available in phases from next year.
