TWO MORE overseas theatre acts have joined the horde of international guests to pull out of yet another popular children's arts festival this summer.
Both the Patravadi Theatre from Thailand and The Pickwick Players from the United States have decided not to participate in this year's Faust Festival, scheduled to run from June 5 to 12, due to 'current world affairs'.
Only Gaby Heinz from Argentina is still on the programme lineup.
Katy Lai of Faust International Youth Theatre said the change had not affected the event because the number of programmes was more or less the same as last year.
Patravadi Theatre and The Pickwick Players are the latest in a long string of cancellations since the Sars outbreak began in March.
Half of the overseas acts invited for this year's International Arts Carnival have been cancelled. Its final programme lineup has yet to be announced.
