Ticket to ride: Mendips, John Lennon's childhood home in Liverpool, England, where he lived with his Aunt Mimi and Uncle George from the age of five to 23, has opened to the public for the first time. Donated to the National Trust by Yoko Ono in 2002, the conservation charity has restored the house, interiors and furnishings as closely as possible to how it was when Lennon lived there.
