Samsung's latest mobile phone is a general packet radio services (GPRS), tri-band, 105 gram wonder incorporating many of the popular features found in its older handsets.

The silver-bodied P408 has a 180-degree swivel colour display and a built-in digital camera that can rotate 180 degrees so you can take pictures of yourself easily using the Portrait mode.

The highlight of this phone is the embedded digital camera which, according to some reviews, has one of the best resolutions available.

I have not tried the camera so cannot vouch for this claim.

The new handset features a thin-film diode (TFD) liquid crystal display with a resolution of 128x160 pixels. The phone can store up to 100 digital pictures at a resolution of 352x288.

The built-in software includes a phone directory, vibration alert, T9 text input, a currency converter and privacy protection functions. P408 has also incorporated wireless application protocol, games and 40 polyphonic ring tones.
