SARAH CONNOR is Germany's answer to Britney Spears - but there are some key differences. When Fraulein Connor appears in FHM or Maxim magazines, her comments and pictures tend to be more risque than her milk-drinking, angelic counterpart from across the pond.
Sadly, Sarah's talent is only in the money-spinning image department (not to imply that Britney sings like a bird).
Her boys' fantasy role in public is one thing, the themes and lyrics in her new album are another.
In the first few tracks, sinister one-night-stand-man gets a bashing, as does unreliable boyfriend (but he might get a second chance if he bucks his ideas up), and then poor old unbelievable-man gets the worst deal - Sarah actually thinks he is perfect.
Later, Sarah astounds us with her insight: on track 10, she proclaims 'one and one is two' - thought provoking indeed - and that 'all I want is you'. At least it rhymes.
Coughing up $100 for such cheap poetry won't qualify one as a connoisseur of the English language.
