Sony has introduced an even tinier version of its thumb-sized USB drive, Mini Micro Vault USB 2.0.
Priced two to three times more than others on the market, Sony's cute, 256-megabyte dice-size storage comes with a 12 gram USB docking station and three security software. One software is AutoZip, which compresses the size stores information as Zip files.
The mini vault becomes a portable drive when plugged in to your laptop or personal computer's USB port and transfers data at speeds up to 480 megabits. The security software in the Mini Vault works only with Windows ME, 2000 and XP.
The Mini Micro Vault USB 2.0 product line is colour-coded, according to the storage capacity: 32MB in red, 64MB in blue, 128MB in silver and 256MB in dark grey.
